Desert Dental Nogales delivers full-scope care for travelers, from dental implants and full-arch rehabilitation to crowns and veneers, root canals, orthodontics with Damon® and Invisalign®, and everyday dentistry. Patients score the clinic highly for friendly service, modern diagnostics, and convenient access just over the Arizona–Sonora line.
All-on-4/5/6, implant crowns and bridges, sinus lifts, bone grafts, overdentures on 2–6 implants, and full-arch porcelain bridges supported by 4, 6, or 8 implants.
Porcelain or ceramic restorations, zirconia, PFM with standard or precious options, composite veneers, and temporary restorations.
Anterior, premolar, and molar root canal therapy, post and core build-ups, and crown planning.
Conventional metal braces, clear braces, Damon® braces, Invisalign®, retainers, and splints.
Cleanings, deep cleanings, also known as scaling and root planing, fillings, extractions, and in-office or take-home whitening.
Consultations, single and panoramic X-rays, and CT/3D imaging.
Expect friendly, bilingual coordination, treatment options explained in plain language, and written aftercare for peace of mind. Sharing recent X-rays or CT scans before you fly helps the team pre-plan, reduce chair time, and sequence multi-step procedures, especially helpful for short stays and same-week results such as crowns and veneers.
Fly to Tucson International Airport, TUS, or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, PHX, then drive to the DeConcini Port of Entry in Nogales, Arizona. Many visitors park on the U.S. side, walk across, and take a short local taxi to the clinic area.
Typical drives: Tucson to the border is about 1 hour 15 minutes; Phoenix to the border is about 2 hours 45 minutes.
If you prefer rideshare, Uber or Lyft works well to the U.S.-side border parking. On the Mexico side, local taxis are the most reliable.
Your Dental Departures advisor can confirm availability, lock in a quote, and coordinate back-to-back appointments around your flights free of charge.
Guarantees vary by procedure and typically apply to lab-made restorations, including crowns, veneers, and bridges, and certain implant components. Coverage generally requires you to follow the clinic’s written aftercare, attend maintenance visits as advised, and use protective devices, such as a night guard, if prescribed. Before treatment, your Dental Departures advisor can supply the current written warranty for your specific plan, including what is covered, for how long, exclusions such as smoking or missed recalls, and how repairs or replacements are handled.
The clinic is in Nogales, Sonora, just over the DeConcini Port of Entry from Nogales, Arizona. Most travelers park on the Arizona side, walk across, and take a short taxi to the clinic. If you are flying, connect via Tucson International Airport or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and drive to the border. Dental Departures can share the exact GPS pin, walking route, taxi stand tips, and where to park on the U.S. side so your arrival is simple and predictable.
Clinics serving international patients commonly accept cash and major credit or debit cards. Larger treatment plans may allow bank transfers. Because card brands, processor fees, and any cash-discount policies can change, your advisor can confirm the exact accepted methods for your dates and whether a deposit is needed to reserve surgical or lab time.
Spanish is standard in Nogales clinics, and English support is commonly available at reception and chairside. Share your language preference at booking so Dental Departures can schedule you with an English-speaking coordinator or dentist and prepare bilingual consent and aftercare documents.
Most implant plans are two-stage. Stage 1, implant placement with or without bone graft or sinus lift, typically fits into 2–4 days with a short review before you head home. Stage 2, the abutment and final crown, bridge, or full-arch restoration, happens after healing, also called osseointegration. If grafting is needed, total timelines extend. Your coordinator can map appointments to your travel window and arrange provisional or temporary teeth for comfort during healing when appropriate.
Often, yes. Plan 4–7 days if a post, core, and permanent crown are included. Many travelers wear a high-quality temporary while the final crown is fabricated. Exact timing depends on the tooth, infection control, and lab steps. Your written plan will show the sequence, chair time, and review visit.
With advance notice, it is usually possible to organize X-rays or CT/3D imaging and a same-day consultation, so you can review options, costs, and timelines at once. Sending recent images and your medical or dental history beforehand speeds planning and can reduce total visits.

Be carefull. The lab they use took 3 attempts to do a proper fitting and I still ended up with teeth that I have trouble chewing and speaking. I now will look for someone to correct my problem. They are offering to redo but they want $12,000.
Excellent facilities and excellent service 100% recommended.
The prices are great and the staff is friendly, but the quality of work is not high enough for me.
Excellent personal and professional attention first class facilities thank you very much.
