Dr. Aberoy Bucad completed his degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine in Centro Escolar University in Manila, received a Doctor of Optometry degree from De Ocampo Memorial College in Manila, and a postdoctoral degree in Orthodontics at the American Society of Orthodontic Practitioners (ASOP), as well as a course in Implantology at the Asia Pacific Academy Corporation (APAC).
His wife, Dr. Rizalina Bucad was a cum laude at the Polytechnic University in the Philippines with a degree in BA Statistics. She was a former government employee and banker and later pursued a course in Doctor of Optometry with special interests in contact lenses and pediatric optometry.
