About Dr. Liao
Dr. Richard F. Liao is a highly skilled general dentist with extensive experience in the field. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in April 1995 from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. Fluent in English, Dr. Liao further enhanced his credentials by passing the American Dental Board Exams in 2006, which he took in San Francisco, California.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Philippine Dental Association, Manila Dental Society, Quezon City Dental Society, Philippine Prosthodontic Society, and the American Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Liao has trained in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, earning the 2019 Best Dentist Award for his exceptional work in the field.

octobre 2018I have been a patient of Smile More Dental Clinic for 2 years now and I am so grateful for the care I received. I am from the US and started having dental problems during a pregnancy 5 years ago. In 6 months I went from having no cavities to what is called "rampant decay" where I had 3-5 deep cavities on every tooth. I was only 24 years old. I spent thousands of dollars on fillings but my dentist in the US said the only way to keep from having my teeth break off at the gum line was to crown them all, which was impossible financially for me at $3000 USD per crown. We moved to the Philippines and I went to Smile More Dental clinic right away. Dr. Michael has been amazing, one of my teeth broke off almost immediately after we moved and Dr. Michael placed a rod into that tooth and gave me a 2 crowns bridge on the broken one and a neighboring one. I am terrified of dental work in general but Dr. Michael made me feel comfortable and safe and minimized any pain I felt. So far I have gotten 6 root canals and I just finished getting 8 Zirconia crowns on my top teeth. Yesterday was my try in of the permanent crowns and I am so happy. I started to cry seeing my teeth with the crowns for the first time, I never thought I would have a pretty smile again and i am so grateful to Dr. Michael for making my dream a reality. For the first time in 5 years I was not embarrassed by my teeth. I will go back in a few days to start the process of putting the other 11 crowns on my bottom teeth. I am so happy with Dr. Michael's kindness, patience and diligence. My smile is beautiful again and I am so happy.
