FAQs

What warranties or guarantees does the clinic offer?

Warranties are generally procedure-specific and most often cover lab-made restorations, such as crowns, veneers, bridges, and dentures, and, when stated, implant components for a defined period. To keep coverage valid, you’ll need to follow written aftercare, attend maintenance visits as advised, and use protective devices, such as a night guard, if prescribed. Before treatment, we’ll provide the current written warranty for your exact plan, including duration, inclusions, exclusions, and how any repair or replacement is handled.

Where is the clinic and how do I get there?

Dental Station is in Cabo San Lucas, near the marina and hotel zone. From Los Cabos International Airport, plan approximately 35–45 minutes by airport taxi, private shuttle, or rideshare, including Uber or DiDi. If you’re already in Los Cabos, local taxis and hotel transport work well. With your booking, we’ll share the GPS pin, preferred drop-off and parking points, and the simplest route.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Border and resort-area clinics commonly accept cash and major credit/debit cards; for larger treatment plans, bank transfer may be available. Because accepted card brands, processor fees, and possible cash-discount policies can change, your advisor will confirm the exact options for your dates and whether a deposit is needed to reserve lab or surgical time.

What languages are spoken at the clinic?

Spanish and English are supported at reception and chairside. Let us know your preference so we can schedule with an English-speaking coordinator or clinician and prepare bilingual consent and aftercare.

How long do dental implants take here?

Implants are typically completed over two visits. Visit 1 handles diagnostics and implant placement, plus any bone graft or sinus lift, generally organized over a few days with a short review. After healing, also called osseointegration, Visit 2 places the abutment and final crown or bridge. Allow several days in town for this restoration phase. If grafting is required, overall timelines extend; your written plan will map dates to your travel window.

Can I complete a root canal and crown in one trip?

Often, yes. A root canal alone may be completed in 1–5 days depending on the tooth and infection control. When you add a post/core and a permanent crown, plan approximately 5–8 days to accommodate clinical and lab steps. Your plan will show the exact sequence and review visit.

Do you offer same-day diagnostics and a treatment plan?

With notice, the clinic can arrange exams and x-rays the same day, and CT scans via a local radiology facility when indicated, so you can review options, timelines, and a written estimate in one visit. Sharing recent images and medical/dental history ahead of time speeds planning and may reduce total visits.

Janelle Jacobson  Hace 8 horas I went to Dr Pelagio at Dental Station, to get a root canal and crown. I was very impressed with everything that he did. I was glad he spoke English. His work was excellent and I felt safe the entire time. I was so happy with his work, that I added three additional fillings and a cleaning. I saved $3000 US, compared to prices in the states.

I was contemplating getting a crown for many months. I decided to try it while on vacation in Cabo. The process went exactly as they indicated and I was able to get 2 crowns and a few small cavities resolved. Dr Pelagio & his staff were professional, cooperative and friendly. The pain management was well done. I would highly recommend their service.

A great way to receive dental service at a great price when you are without benefits coverage in your home country. The doctor was very personable, knowledgeable and skilled. A relaxed environment made for a very positive experience and I will be back for checkups!
