Kalm Dental CEO & Founder: Dr. Irene
Dr. Irene is a highly experienced and dedicated dentist committed to achieving optimal oral health and radiant smiles for her patients. In 2009, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Universitas Hasanuddin, Indonesia, and earned her Professional Degree in Dentistry from the same university in 2011. Furthering her expertise, Dr. Irene pursued a Master of Research in Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester, UK, in 2017. As an active member of the Indonesian Dentist Association (PDGI) since 2012, she has continuously updated her skills and knowledge to provide the most effective and advanced treatments available.
With a decade of experience in dental practice, Dr. Irene specializes in general dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, and both direct and indirect restorations. She is also skilled in the use of aligners for orthodontic treatment. Fluent in both English and Indonesian, Dr. Irene ensures clear communication and personalized care for her diverse patient base.
As the CEO and founder of Kalm Dental Care, she works alongside two other fully certified general dentists who are committed to pursuing ongoing education and training – allowing the entire team to adopt the latest techniques and ensure that each patient receives first-class dental care in Bali.

May 2024I visited Kalm Dental Care in May 2024 for a check-up and cleaning appointment on a Saturday afternoon. I received a reminder a few days before and on the day of the appointment, which was very helpful and showed the clinic's commitment to punctuality. The clinic was easy to find with good parking facilities. When I arrived, the reception staff welcomed me warmly and asked me to fill out a short, simple questionnaire since it was my first visit. Soon after, I was called into the operating room where Dr. Irene and two dental assistants greeted me. Dr. Irene asked me to explain any problems or concerns I had, listening attentively and asking many follow-up questions. The cleaning and check-up were very comfortable, and I never felt uneasy. I was given plenty of chances to rest my jaw and rinse my mouth during the 30 minutes I was in the chair. After the appointment, Dr. Irene showed me high-quality pictures of my teeth and explained what care was needed. This visual aid helped me understand her instructions better. The staff wished me goodbye and helped me order a ride-sharing service from the clinic. Overall, I highly recommend Kalm Dental Care for its professionalism, cleanliness, attention to detail, expertise, comfort, and reasonable prices. It was the first time I actually enjoyed going to the dentist in Indonesia.
