This modern facility has been providing oral and dental health services for more than 25 years to patients from 80 different countries, with a team of eight specialists in the fields of implantology, aesthetic dentistry, orthodontic and facial-surgical treatments, periodontological surgical treatments and plastic surgery.
More About the Clinic
Ortodontist was originally founded in 1997 by Dr. Barış Ünlü (Ph.D. in orthodontics) as a single dentist's office specializing in teeth alignment and correction solutions. In 2003, Dr. Ünlü partnered with Dt. Mert Börü and Dr. Evren Üner to transform the brand into a multidisciplinary oral and dental health polyclinic, with their expert team adding specialists in implantology, periodontology, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
It has quickly earned an excellent reputation across Europe for its quality of care–having been accredited with the “Excellence in Dental Tourism” and “Quality in Dental Care” certificates by the International Healthcare Accreditation Organisation Temos, based in Germany.
Dentalprof is rated ISO 9001:2015-certified in-house laboratory (Orto-Tek), allowing faster turnaround times on fixed prosthetics, as well as increased quality control and cost savings for patients undergoing full and partial smile restorations.
Patient satisfaction is Dentalprof’s top priority. The dental team here pays close attention to the smallest details in order to find optimal treatment solutions; as a result, the clinic boasts a patient satisfaction rate of 96.4%.
In order to be closer to their patients visiting from other European countries, Dentalprof by Ortodontist Clinic opened an additional office in Germany’s Düsseldorf area in April 2023. This allows patients to undergo an initial consultation before flying to Istanbul–while also providing an additional point-of-call in cases where specific after-care is required.

diciembre 2024I went to the clinic for tooth clenching problem and tooth filling. Mert Hoca made tooth filling and ozone therapy. Detailed x-rays and photographs were taken and my tooth structure was examined. Barış Hodja examined and I started wire treatment. Thanks to the detailed examination and guidance of the teachers, my teeth clenching problem was solved. In addition, every point of the clinic is very clean, planned and organized, which makes the process much easier.
