Dr. Laura Plaza is a highly skilled periodontist and implantologist, originally from Venezuela, where she earned her dental degree from the prestigious Universidad de los Andes in 2009. She later furthered her specialized training in periodontics at the Universidad de Guadalajara and was selected for an academic exchange at the University of Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where she trained alongside leading experts in the field.

Dr. Plaza is a member of the American Academy of Osseointegration, the Asociación Mexicana de Periodoncia, and the International Team for Implantology.

Dr. Miguel Ángel Ramírez is a highly regarded dentist based in Tijuana, Mexico, and a key member of the team at Dental Project Mexico. He earned his degree in Dental Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in 2009 and went on to complete a master’s in Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Dentistry at UNAM. 

Recognized for his contributions to dental research, Dr. Ramírez received a national research award in 2013 and later advanced his training through a prestigious fellowship at Texas A&M University. He also serves as a professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, sharing his expertise with future dental professionals.
