March 2016Highly recommended. My wife and I (from Austin, Texas) originally came to Playa to get dental treatment from Dr. Jorge Armenta. However after assessing my periodontal needs, he recommended that I see a nearby periodontist/specialist, Dr. Alicia Luna. It was hard to find any reviews for her online, so I decided to trust Jorge and meet with her. I'm VERY glad I did. Her English was crystal clear and she had a long list of credentials. Her staff was very professional and she explained what my situation entailed very clearly and let me know what options there were. Her prices were 75% less than what the same treatment would cost in the states. But in Mexico at this time, it still meant I was paying for premium treatment. She was very straight forward, I felt no pressure at all. Felt very respected. The treatment took 2 days to complete. During that time she went out of her way to accommodate my schedule. At the end, she gave me periowave treatment, and didn't charge me for it. Normally I would've taken the discount, but I had such a good experience with her I insisted. I have 100% confidence in her, and will be returning regularly for the duration of my periodontal needs.
